About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of human resource and technical support services to the Nigerian oil and gas industry. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Reservoir Engineer to join our expanding team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing field activities, conducting comprehensive reservoir studies, and ensuring the optimal economic value of our client assets through advanced engineering techniques and strategic collaboration.
Key Responsibilities- Perform proper follow-up of numerous fields activities, production data, and reservoir studies to identify shortfalls and propose solutions.
- Prepare validation dossiers under the supervision of the Reservoir Engineering Manager for internal approvals.
- Carry out key reporting exercises including weekly, monthly, SOX, budgeting, long-term planning (LTP), and reserves reporting.
- Review operators' volumetric data and reserves, performing volumetric assessments in conjunction with 2G staff for new developments.
- Forecast future production using classical reservoir engineering techniques and numerical simulation.
- Review and quality control operator work plans, including Field Development Plans, well proposals, and appraisal plans.
- Provide technical assistance to colleagues, mentor interns, and promote strict adherence to company HSE policies.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Petroleum Engineering or other relevant engineering disciplines.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in reservoir engineering within the oil and gas sector.
- Strong ability to synthesize complex data and interact effectively with operational professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a proven track record of making data-driven recommendations to management.
- Complete fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
