Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-quality, impactful research in federalism, democratic studies, public administration, and related disciplines.
  • Publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
  • Contribute to the academic activities of the Centre, including workshops, seminars, and policy dialogues.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on multidisciplinary research projects and grant applications.
  • Mentor students and participate in departmental administrative duties as assigned by the University.

Qualifications
  • A PhD or Master's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, International Relations, Law, Political Economy, Development Studies, Sociology, History, or a related discipline.
  • A First degree with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division with a PhD.
  • At least three (3) peer-reviewed academic publications in recognized journals.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant working or professional experience demonstrating strong research capacity and scholarly contribution.
  • Demonstrable evidence of professional competence and analytical proficiency.
