About the Role
The University of Benin (UNIBEN), a prestigious federal university founded in 1970, is seeking a qualified and dedicated professional to fill the position of Research Fellow I at the African Centre for Management and Leadership. Key Responsibilities- Conduct high-quality academic and empirical research in management, leadership, public administration, and related fields.
- Publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Contribute to the curriculum development and academic programs of the African Centre for Management and Leadership.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide undergraduate and postgraduate students in their research endeavors.
- Participate in departmental meetings, faculty seminars, workshops, and community engagement initiatives.
- Secure research grants and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on multidisciplinary projects.
- A PhD or Master's degree in Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Industrial Relations, Sociology, Human Resources Management, or a related discipline.
- Basic qualification requirement includes a First Degree with not below a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division with a PhD.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant working, professional, or academic experience.
- At least three (3) quality peer-reviewed publications in recognized academic journals.
- Demonstrable evidence of professional competence, strong research capacity, and significant scholarly contributions.
