About the Role

Polaris Bank Limited, a leading Systemically Important Bank in Nigeria, is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented professional to join our Corporate Banking team. You will play a pivotal role in originating corporate business, driving revenue generation, and managing strategic client portfolios across major industries such as Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, Power, and Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage profitable relationships with corporate clients across assigned industry sectors.
  • Drive the acquisition of quality corporate accounts and achieve business growth targets.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis and prepare comprehensive Credit Approval Memorandums (CAM).
  • Assess credit risks, recommend appropriate mitigants, and monitor facility performance.
  • Provide strategic industry insights and advisory support to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and KYC/AML guidelines.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3-7 years of relevant experience in Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, or Credit Analysis.
  • Proven track record of managing clients within sectors like Oil & Gas, Telecoms, Power, Manufacturing, or Agriculture.
  • Strong proficiency in financial statement analysis and transaction structuring.
  • Demonstrable expertise in drafting and defending Credit Approval Memorandums (CAM).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
