About the Role
Green Africa, Nigeria's vibrant Lagos-based airline, is looking for a dedicated Accounting and Finance Operation Specialist to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and driving operational excellence across our airline network as we connect people and resources across Nigeria and West Africa.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate accounting records, general ledgers, invoices, and supporting documentation for all financial transactions.
- Process supplier and vendor invoices efficiently, managing accounts payable while ensuring strict adherence to internal controls.
- Perform regular bank and account reconciliations, promptly investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close activities along with financial reporting requirements.
- Assist with tax compliance preparations and facilitate internal and external audit processes.
- Adhere strictly to financial governance frameworks and contribute to continuous improvements in finance operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
- 3 to 4 years of proven professional experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
- Strong proficiency in financial software, general ledgers, and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and high integrity.
