About the Role
TeamAce Limited is partnering with a reputable Microfinance Institution in Nigeria to recruit a dynamic and results-driven Relationship Manager for Merchant Acquisition & Revenue Generation. In this exciting field-based role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding our client's merchant network, driving transaction volumes, and maximizing revenue generation across assigned markets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire new merchants and achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Conduct targeted field prospecting, networking, and cold-calling to identify and engage high-potential merchants.
- Build, nurture, and maintain strong, long-lasting business relationships with merchants to ensure high retention and loyalty.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and negotiate mutually beneficial commercial terms and agreements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure seamless merchant onboarding and superior customer experience.
- Monitor market trends, analyze sales performance metrics, and maintain accurate records of all merchant activities.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in sales, business development, merchant acquisition, or relationship management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline is an added advantage.
- Prior working experience or deep familiarity with fintech, payments, transaction finance, or the banking sector is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and closing skills with a natural ability to build rapport.
- A target-driven mindset, high integrity, and the ability to thrive working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive Gross Salary of ₦240,656 with a total monthly take-home reaching up to ₦303,408 post-probation (inclusive of miscellaneous allowances for transport, airtime, and data).
- Lucrative and uncapped commission structure offering 3.5% on total portfolio revenue, with top performers earning up to 8x their monthly salary.
