Key Responsibilities- Assist customers with the purchase and refilling of LPG cooking gas in strict accordance with approved company procedures.
- Handle gas cylinders and related refueling equipment safely and responsibly at all times.
- Ensure accurate measurement of gas volumes and maintain proper documentation for all daily transactions.
- Deliver exceptional, courteous, and professional customer service to all clients visiting the station.
- Inspect the work area regularly and promptly report any gas leaks, equipment faults, or safety hazards.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and orderliness around the pump and general gas station premises.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations to prevent accidents.
- Monitor the perimeter to ensure customers and unauthorized personnel do not enter restricted hazardous zones.
- Account accurately for all cash payments, digital sales, and assigned operational materials.
- Follow assigned work schedules, operational guidelines, and report unusual occurrences to the Station Supervisor.
- Minimum of an SSCE, OND, or equivalent vocational qualification.
- Prior experience working as a gas pump attendant or in a similar downstream oil and gas role is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards in a petroleum or gas environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
- High level of integrity, honesty, and accuracy in handling cash and sales records.
- Ability to remain calm and follow emergency protocols in high-pressure situations.
