About the Role
TeamAce Limited is partnering with a dynamic organization to recruit a high-performing Relationship Manager – Merchant Acquisition & Revenue Generation. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new merchants, scaling revenue streams, building strategic business relationships, and consistently surpassing ambitious sales targets within the Nigerian market.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire new merchants and accelerate revenue generation.
- Identify, prospect, and engage potential merchants through field visits, networking, and direct outreach.
- Build and nurture strong, long-lasting merchant relationships to drive retention, satisfaction, and portfolio loyalty.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly merchant acquisition and revenue targets.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging industry trends and new business opportunities.
- Negotiate commercial terms and finalize agreements with prospective merchants.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure seamless merchant onboarding and support.
- Maintain accurate sales records and performance reports using CRM tools.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in sales, business development, relationship management, or merchant acquisition.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Prior experience within fintech, transaction finance, payments, or the banking sector is an added advantage.
- Exceptional negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with a target-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Gross monthly salary of N240,656 with a net take-home of N203,408.
- Monthly miscellaneous allowance covering transport, airtime, and data (N50,000 during probation; N100,000 post-probation).
- Lucrative 3.5% monthly commission on total portfolio revenue with uncapped earning potential.
- Fully covered company HMO health insurance.
- Pension scheme with a 10% company contribution and 8% employee contribution.
