About the Role
Givanas Group of Companies is a renowned leader in the manufacturing and distribution of premium Fast Moving Consumer Goods, including dairy, beverages, canned seafood, and personal care products tailored to the Nigerian market. Through our subsidiary, Ubereness Nigeria Ltd., we are currently seeking a dedicated and analytical Regulatory Compliance Officer to champion regulatory and food safety compliance across our manufacturing operations. In this vital role, you will ensure that all production processes strictly adhere to national and international quality standards, safeguarding consumer health and maintaining our brand reputation.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure continuous compliance with NAFDAC regulations, HACCP principles, and ISO 22000/FSSC standards across all manufacturing units.
- Manage regulatory documentation, product registrations, and renewals efficiently with relevant government agencies.
- Coordinate and lead internal and external quality audits, facility inspections, and compliance reviews.
- Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to resolve compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Train manufacturing staff on food safety protocols, hygiene practices, and regulatory updates.
- Monitor and analyze regulatory changes in the Nigerian FMCG sector to advise management proactively.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience in food manufacturing, regulatory affairs, or quality assurance.
- Deep working knowledge of NAFDAC guidelines, HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000 frameworks.
- Demonstrated success in managing regulatory audits and maintaining meticulous documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
