We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse / Registered Midwife (RN/RM) to join our esteemed team of healthcare professionals in providing exceptional patient-centered care and specialized maternal health services.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate, complete healthcare records and reports in compliance with hospital standards.
- Provide comprehensive prenatal care, including screening tests and routine postnatal visits.
- Oversee and monitor the labor process closely while advising mothers on effective pain management options.
- Identify high-risk pregnancies promptly and refer such patients to the relevant medical specialists.
- Provide mentorship, training, and professional guidance for junior nursing colleagues.
- Administer medications safely to patients and monitor them carefully for potential side effects and adverse reactions.
- Prescribe assistive medical advice and related treatment plans under established protocols.
- Record patient vital signs and critical medical information accurately.
- Order necessary medical diagnostic and clinical laboratory tests.
- Monitor, report, and record all symptoms or changes in patient conditions in real time.
- Valid practicing license as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Midwife (RM) with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
- Minimum of 4 years of active working experience in a recognized hospital or healthcare facility.
- Demonstrated expertise in maternal care, labor ward management, and general nursing duties.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and crisis-management skills.
- Ability to mentor junior staff and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
