In this role, you will play a pivotal part in providing high-standard clinical care, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all patients under your care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive, high-quality patient care in accordance with professional nursing standards and hospital protocols.
- Perform thorough clinical assessments and manage individualized patient care plans effectively.
- Monitor and document vital signs, medication administration, and overall patient responses accurately.
- Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families throughout the treatment and recovery process.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and take decisive action independently when required.
- Must possess a valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) practicing license issued by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of solid post-qualification clinical experience in a recognized healthcare facility.
- Previous specialized experience in Neurology, Neurosurgery, Stroke, ICU, or Neurorehabilitation Wards in a Teaching Hospital or Government Hospital is a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrated strength in clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness and flexibility to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
