Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive, high-quality nursing care to patients with diverse medical needs.
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and manage individualized patient care plans effectively.
- Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and document all clinical procedures accurately.
- Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient health outcomes.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and manage critical care situations independently when required.
- Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Adhere strictly to professional nursing ethics, hospital policies, and safety regulations.
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid and current practising licence in Nigeria.
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a recognized healthcare setting.
- Prior experience in a Neurology, Neurosurgery, Stroke, ICU, or Neurorehabilitation Ward in a Teaching or Government Hospital is a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrated strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal communication, and clinical documentation abilities.
- Willingness and flexibility to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
