About the Role
Jaza Energy, a leading last-mile solar energy company, is looking for a dynamic Regional Service Engineer (RSE) to oversee our technical operations and manage a team of Field Service Engineers in Nigeria. In this role, you will ensure uninterrupted power supply and optimal energy uptime across our solar charging stations and hubs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and supervise Field Service Engineers (FSEs) in executing new hub setups and maintaining solar energy systems.
- Ensure energy uptime, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and perform necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with Regional Coordinators, the NOC data team, and management to diagnose and resolve technical challenges.
- Oversee the review of hub energy performance reports and compile comprehensive monthly reports for senior management.
- Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across all operations.
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on technical and engineering leadership experience in the solar, renewable energy, or telecommunications industry.
- Deep expertise in solar energy systems, electrical design, installation, and maintenance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools.
- Ability to travel frequently within Nigeria to support our rapidly expanding network.
