About the Role
The African Medical Centre of Excellence (AMCE) is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Business Development Officer to spearhead our referral growth, strategic partnerships, and regional market presence across Lagos and Western Nigeria. Developed by Afreximbank in clinical partnership with Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, AMCE Abuja is a premier 500-bed specialty hospital dedicated to delivering world-class, comprehensive healthcare across the African continent.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a robust strategic territory plan covering Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo, and Ekiti.
- Proactively prospect, engage, and onboard new referring partners including private hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, and key consultants.
- Conduct high-value sales engagements through virtual outreach and scheduled in-person visits to formalize referral agreements.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for new partner acquisition and patient referral volumes.
- Monitor competitive healthcare trends in Western Nigeria and submit detailed weekly activity reports, pipeline forecasts, and market insights via the company CRM.
- Balance remote administrative tasks effectively while managing frequent local travel within Lagos and neighboring western states.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven B2B field sales experience.
- Mandatory working experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical services within Western Nigeria.
- Must be based in Lagos with an established local network and proven experience engaging healthcare providers.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and technological proficiency including CRM software and virtual meeting platforms.
- Demonstrated resilience, high integrity, and a hunter mindset suited for a competitive healthcare market.
