About the Role
FairMoney is a leading digital lending platform in Nigeria providing instant financial services through our innovative mobile application. We are currently looking for a results-driven Recovery Manager to spearhead our regional loan recovery operations in Kano.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic field recovery plans to reduce Portfolio at Risk and non-performing loans.
- Manage, mentor, and supervise a regional team of field recovery officers, supervisors, and third-party agents.
- Ensure all collection activities strictly adhere to CBN Consumer Protection Regulations and ethical standards.
- Approve loan restructuring and settlement offers within authorized limits.
- Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and Customer Service departments to streamline case management.
- Implement process improvements, route planning, and digital reporting structures.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in field recovery within the Nigerian financial lending sector.
- At least 2 to 3 years in a senior leadership or supervisory role.
- Deep understanding of CBN microfinance guidelines, debt recovery laws, and ethical collection practices.
