About the Role

Oilserv Limited is a leading provider of integrated engineering, procurement, construction, installation & commissioning (EPCIC) services and complementary solutions across the asset and program life cycle within the onshore, offshore and subsea market segments of the oil and gas sector. We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team on a 3-month ad-hoc contract basis in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services necessary for our high-profile operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of materials, equipment, and services for oil and gas projects.
  • Evaluate and select reliable vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, high quality, and timely delivery.
  • Review requisitions and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, track shipments, and resolve any discrepancies regarding quality, quantity, or delivery dates.
  • Maintain comprehensive procurement records, vendor databases, and contract documentation in line with organizational guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and finance teams to align procurement schedules with project milestones.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven procurement experience, preferably within the Nigerian oil and gas or EPCIC sector.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.
  • Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and standard Microsoft Office applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of local and international supply chain regulations, logistics, and contract management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple procurement tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
