As a Radiographer/Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing accurate diagnostic imaging that directly guides effective patient treatment and surgical care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic and sonographic examinations in accordance with established hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Operate advanced imaging equipment efficiently and ensure proper maintenance and quality control checks are routinely conducted.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, doctors, and other multidisciplinary specialists to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results.
- Maintain comprehensive and confidential patient records, ensuring proper documentation of all imaging procedures.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centred care, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
- Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols and infection control guidelines within the department.
- Possess a relevant degree or diploma in Radiography, Medical Imaging, or Sonography from a recognized institution.
- Valid practicing license from the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN) or relevant regulatory body.
- Proven professional experience working as a Radiographer and Sonographer in a reputable healthcare facility.
- Strong technical proficiency in operating modern ultrasound and X-ray imaging equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with a strong commitment to patient care.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced medical environment.
