About the Role
Yaba College of Technology, Nigeria's premier higher institution and a leader in academic excellence, is seeking a dedicated and professionally certified Radiographer to join our medical services team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our students, staff, and the wider community, ensuring accurate medical diagnoses and patient comfort in a dynamic educational healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with standard medical protocols.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning before and during imaging procedures.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot radiological equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety compliance.
- Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety standards and protocols to protect patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records of all imaging procedures performed.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Candidates must possess a good Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division, in Radiography from a recognized institution.
- Must possess full professional registration with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
- Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or possess an exemption certificate.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced academic medical setting.
