About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of outsourcing, technical staffing, and consultancy services to the Nigerian oil and gas sector. We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled Radio / Radar Operation Services Officer to join our offshore operations. In this critical role, you will ensure seamless communication, early threat detection, and robust emergency response coordination for Joint Venture offshore facilities, upholding our commitment to exceptional safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and transmit critical radio, telex, and Inmarsat messages using VHF/HF systems.
- Monitor radar, alarms, and surveillance infrastructure to detect and escalate security threats.
- Coordinate offshore personnel movements, shift schedules, and accurate accountability records.
- Manage offshore logistics, travel arrangements, and sensitive operational information.
- Support emergency response protocols, including radio alarms, mustering, and liaison with response teams.
- Prepare comprehensive daily operational, incident, and near-miss reports.
- Maintain full compliance with Company HSE policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Management, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant offshore experience with an International Oil Company (IOC), preferably TotalEnergies.
- Valid certification in Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS).
- Completed training in Basic Radar Operator, ARPA, and VMAS.
- Combined Marine and Aviation Radio Telephony (CMART) certification.
- Valid BOSIET certification and Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) training.
