About the Role
Rotex Glass Limited is a leading Nigerian fenestration manufacturer and a subsidiary of Rotex Group Europe, specializing in high-quality glass and window/door systems for premier building projects across the country. We are currently looking for a dynamic and dedicated professional to join our factory-based technical team and contribute to our continued excellence in the manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities- Design custom glass and fenestration products to meet unique project and client specifications.
- Calculate and evaluate the structural suitability of glass, aluminium, and other materials including thickness, load, spans, and performance requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive architectural drawings, sketches, and detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD.
- Take accurate site and project measurements and convert them into precise, production-ready specifications.
- Generate essential production documentation, such as cutting lists, material schedules, and technical drawings.
- Collaborate closely with the sales, technical, and production teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturing feasibility.
- Review all drawings and technical documents meticulously for errors prior to factory release.
- Maintain organized records of all designs, structural calculations, and project documentation.
- Undergo comprehensive internal training on Rotex proprietary products, systems, and global quality standards.
- B.Sc. or HND in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a closely related professional field.
- Demonstrated experience in technical design, drafting, or documentation (fresh graduates with exceptional AutoCAD skills are encouraged to apply).
- Willingness to be based at our primary manufacturing facility in Shagamu, Ogun State.
- Strong proficiency in structural design using AutoCAD and carrying out precise technical calculations.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
- Professional advantage includes prior experience with aluminium or glass products, proficiency in Revit or SketchUp, and relevant professional registrations like COREN or ARCON.
