About the Role

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Quantity Surveyor to oversee all commercial aspects of our architectural, interior fit-out, and workspace design projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will ensure our projects are delivered within budget while upholding the highest quality standards, providing expert cost advice, preparing bills of quantities, and maximizing value for money across every engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare preliminary cost estimates, detailed cost plans, and project budgets based on design concepts and client requirements.
  • Conduct regular cost analyses and monitor project expenditures to ensure continuous financial viability and prevent overruns.
  • Draft, review, and administer contract documents, commercial agreements, and subcontractor obligations.
  • Evaluate contractors' claims, manage variations, and advise stakeholders on dispute resolution and contractual matters.
  • Conduct site visits to verify work progress, assess the cost implications of design changes, and measure executed quantities.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, project managers, and procurement teams to maintain commercial alignment throughout project execution.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Building Technology, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification such as RQS, NIQS membership, or registration with QSRBN is a strong added advantage.
  • Minimum of 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in architectural, interior fit-out, workspace design, and commercial construction projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, CostX, Planswift, Bluebeam Revu, and familiarity with AutoCAD and ERP procurement software.
  • Strong expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, contract administration, and construction material pricing.
