About the Role
Efficacy Homes Limited, incorporated in August 2008 with RC 765581, is a leading player in real estate, building construction, and project management located in Idowu Taylor, Victoria Island, Lagos. Since our inception, we have consistently engaged competent professionals to drive our estate developments and home-building initiatives. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to help us manage costs, optimize resources, and deliver exceptional value on our diverse construction projects across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate bill of quantities, estimates, and tenders for ongoing and upcoming construction projects.
- Conduct rigorous cost analysis and manage project budgets from inception to final account settlement.
- Negotiate effectively with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to secure favorable material and service rates.
- Monitor site activities and assess material usage to minimize waste and control expenditures.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure financial targets are met.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and prepare regular financial reports using MS Excel.
- Possession of an HND or BSc degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in construction cost management.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with acute attention to detail.
- Sound knowledge of construction processes, building materials, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in working with MS Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
- Demonstrated negotiation, planning, and strategic organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities for effective stakeholder communication.
