About the Role
Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, a prominent leader in the Nigerian food and agro-allied sector and makers of the trusted Golden Penny brand, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Quality Trade and Complaints Specialist. In this vital role, you will act as the frontline technical representative, delivering exceptional technical support, complaint investigation, and quality auditing to our B2B customers, ensuring optimal flour performance and protecting our esteemed brand reputation.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive field investigations and technical audits at customer bakeries, distribution outlets, and trade locations.
- Diagnose flour and bakery performance issues, identify root causes, and recommend effective corrective actions.
- Collect technical evidence, analyze findings, and prepare detailed investigation reports for management review.
- Conduct and supervise bakery trials to evaluate flour performance and support product optimization.
- Manage customer complaints efficiently from receipt to resolution while ensuring strict compliance with company procedures and service standards.
- Coordinate product sampling and laboratory analysis to support complaint investigations and technical assessments.
- B.Sc. or HND in Food Science, Food Technology, Cereal Science, Baking Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in flour milling, industrial baking, bakery technical services, quality assurance, food manufacturing, or technical sales.
- Strong understanding of flour functionality, dough rheology, baking processes, and bakery performance evaluation.
- Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, customer relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
