About the Role
High Caliber Nigeria Limited, a premier management consultancy and human resources firm, is partnering with a leading manufacturing company to recruit a dedicated and experienced Quality Technician. In this vital role based in the Isolo Industrial Area of Lagos, you will ensure strict adherence to Quality Management Systems, monitor production processes, and maintain exceptional product quality standards to support overall operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and analyse incoming raw and packaging materials to ensure strict compliance with established quality standards.
- Conduct rigorous in-process quality checks and finished product analysis in line with approved manufacturing specifications.
- Ensure continuous compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), QMS frameworks, and relevant health and safety regulations.
- Investigate quality deviations promptly, identify root causes, and recommend effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain meticulous quality records, prepare routine performance reports, and review Certificates of Analysis.
- Ensure the proper calibration, maintenance, and handling of all quality control equipment and laboratory instruments.
- Support supplier quality enhancement initiatives, internal staff training, and ongoing plant continuous improvement projects.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, or a closely related scientific discipline.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of hands-on quality control or quality assurance experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong computer literacy and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining rigorous attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Residing in extreme close proximity to the Isolo Industrial Area in Lagos will be a strong added advantage.
- Competitive gross monthly salary ranging from NGN 170,000 to NGN 250,000.
