Electronic PayPlus Limited, a premier smart card and payment solution service provider incorporated in 2004, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Internal Audit & Compliance Officer to join our growing team in Lagos. In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding our financial integrity, ensuring regulatory compliance, and strengthening our operational internal controls. Key Responsibilities- Assist in designing and implementing enterprise-wide internal control frameworks and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Evaluate operational and financial risks, conducting rigorous control testing to identify and address vulnerabilities.
- Monitor adherence to company policies, statutory requirements, and local regulations while coordinating internal and external audits.
- Develop proactive controls to prevent and detect fraud, investigating any operational violations and recommending remedial actions.
- Design control procedures to prevent misstatements, errors, and inefficiencies across departments.
- Prepare objective, comprehensive reports for upper management and track the progress of control remediation plans.
- Guide junior internal control staff and facilitate cross-departmental training to foster a strong organizational culture of accountability.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of proven professional experience in internal control, risk assessment, or audit roles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Suite and industry-standard audit software.
- Mandatory requirement: Applicants must reside around Ajah and its immediate environs in Lagos.
