About the Role
ETL Engineering Services Limited, a leading indigenous EPCIM company in Nigeria, is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Supervisor to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that our manufacturing and assembly processes consistently meet established quality standards, specifications, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily quality control activities across the entire manufacturing process.
- Conduct rigorous inspections of incoming components, work-in-progress, and finished products.
- Identify, document, and investigate product defects and non-conformities promptly.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
- Conduct regular quality audits and process checks on the factory floor.
- Develop and maintain accurate quality inspection checklists and comprehensive reports.
- Track recurring defects and recommend actionable process improvements.
- Train production staff on quality standards, protocols, and defect prevention techniques.
- Prepare detailed quality performance reports for senior management.
- Promote a strong organizational culture focused on quality and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in quality control or assurance within manufacturing or assembly environments.
- Strong practical knowledge of manufacturing quality control processes and defect identification.
- Proven expertise in root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and process control.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, reporting, and documentation skills.
- Hands-on experience in home appliance manufacturing, particularly freezers or refrigerators, is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work effectively on a busy factory floor and lead quality personnel.
