About the Role
VampAI is helping growing businesses hire and manage global talent seamlessly. We are currently seeking a meticulous Quality Control Officer to join our dynamic fashion production team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in upholding our reputation for excellence by ensuring that every fabric, component, and finished outfit meets the highest standards of luxury craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect incoming fabrics, embellishments, and garment materials for defects and specification compliance.
- Run rigorous quality checks at each stage of production, from cutting and stitching to final assembly.
- Inspect finished bridal gowns, bespoke outfits, and ready-to-wear pieces for fit, finishing, and detailing before dispatch.
- Support quality assessments during client fittings and necessary alterations.
- Maintain detailed inspection records, track recurring defects, and report findings to management.
- Collaborate closely with tailors, pattern cutters, and production teams to improve overall quality and consistency.
- Diploma, HND, or degree in Fashion Design, Garment Technology, Textile Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of proven experience in quality control or assurance within fashion, garment manufacturing, bridal couture, or bespoke tailoring.
- Deep knowledge of advanced garment construction, stitching, fitting, and luxury finishing techniques.
- Experience working with delicate luxury fabrics and intricate embellishments.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong communication skills.
