About the Role
Sagar Vitaceuticals Nigeria Limited, a leading name in the Nigerian healthcare industry known for trusted brands like Vitaclox and Vitacillin, is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Officer to join our dynamic team at our Makun City, Sagamu facility in Ogun State. In this full-time role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the highest standards of product excellence, safety, and regulatory compliance across our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine physical, chemical, and microbiological testing of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure all manufacturing and laboratory processes strictly comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company quality standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all test results, calibration logs, and equipment maintenance records.
- Identify, investigate, and report any out-of-specification (OOS) results or quality deviations, recommending appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with the production and quality assurance teams to resolve quality issues promptly and effectively.
- Participate in the validation of analytical methods, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
- Possess a relevant academic qualification in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related science discipline.
- Must have a strong background and proven work experience within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and modern laboratory testing techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
