About the Role

Speedaf Express is a dynamic joint-venture formed by YIWILL Holdings and ZTO, committed to reducing end-to-end logistics costs while providing stable and recognized logistics services to our valued customers. We are currently looking for a dedicated Quality Control Manager to join our growing team in Nigeria and drive operational excellence across all touchpoints of our supply chain network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all operational stages, including pick-up, sorting, transit, and last-mile delivery.
  • Conduct regular internal audits of warehouses, sorting hubs, and transit vehicles to ensure strict adherence to safety and handling protocols.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time Delivery (OTD), Damage Rate, and Customer Complaint Resolution Time.
  • Ensure full operational compliance with Nigerian regulations, including Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON) guidelines and relevant transport licensing requirements.
  • Lead investigations into major service failures, lost shipments, or damaged goods, and implement robust Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Analyze exception-parcel data, diagnose root causes for operational errors, and formulate targeted improvement plans across the network.
  • Oversee quality training programs for operations staff, drivers, and warehouse handlers to elevate overall service standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in quality control or operations management within the logistics, courier, or express delivery sector.
  • Proven hands-on experience working within established Nigerian logistics or express enterprises.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or enterprise logistics ERP systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Nigerian logistics industry regulations and Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive change in a fast-paced environment.
