We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Engineer to join our dynamic team and ensure that our construction projects meet the highest benchmarks of structural integrity and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect ongoing construction works rigorously to ensure strict compliance with approved architectural drawings, structural specifications, and building codes.
- Conduct thorough material inspections and oversee testing procedures to verify that all supplied building materials meet required standards.
- Maintain comprehensive quality documentation, logs, and daily inspection reports for all project phases.
- Identify construction defects, non-conformities, and potential risks early, and provide actionable, corrective recommendations to site teams.
- Coordinate seamlessly with contractors, project managers, and consultants to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
- Enforce strict QA/QC procedures and promote construction best practices across residential, commercial, and mixed-use project sites.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in Quality Control within the construction or real estate industry.
- BSc or HND in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a closely related discipline.
- Active membership in a relevant professional body, with COREN registration serving as a distinct advantage.
- Deep understanding of construction quality standards, testing methods, and local building regulations.
