We are currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Control Civil Engineer to join our expanding team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring our ambitious construction projects meet the highest international standards of quality, safety, and structural integrity. Key Responsibilities- Inspect ongoing civil construction activities thoroughly against approved engineering drawings and project specifications.
- Review detailed architectural drawings, material submittals, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Monitor and inspect earthworks, foundations, concrete pours, steel reinforcement, and overall structural works.
- Identify potential quality issues, structural defects, and site non-conformances promptly.
- Coordinate site inspections, material testing procedures, and the implementation of effective corrective actions.
- Prepare comprehensive daily inspection reports and maintain accurate technical documentation for all quality assurance activities.
- Possess a Bachelor Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven quality control experience within civil construction, industrial projects, or the oil and gas sector.
- Exhibit strong working knowledge of civil construction methodologies, earthworks, foundations, and concrete reinforcement.
- Show proficiency in interpreting complex engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Possess relevant professional quality management or inspection certifications as a strong added advantage.
