About the Role
Wendernek Consulting Limited, a leading human resource management solution provider in Nigeria, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure our applied and bespoke solutions meet the highest international standards of excellence and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a project quality plan in line with ISO 9001: 2015 international standards and contractual requirements, including QA/QC plans and procedures.
- Ensure the seamless implementation of quality management activities following the Project Quality Plan, Contract Scope of Work, and ISO standards.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of welded joints and components to guarantee compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Perform various non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, including visual inspection, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle inspection, and liquid penetrant testing.
- Maintain accurate records of welding procedures, inspections, and prepare detailed reports on all quality control activities.
- Review and verify Inspection Test Plans, Quality Control Procedures, method statements, and material requisitions.
- Monitor compliance with project-specific requirements and industry codes, defining necessary QA/QC resources across project phases.
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of progressive work experience in a similar field.
- At least 2 years of specialized experience as a Welding Inspector in the offshore industry.
- Extensive knowledge of QA/QC skills, procedures, and policy development.
- Strong familiarity with industry standards such as API, ASME, FMEA, SPC, Control Plans, and ISO 9001:2015 environments.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and welding codes.
- Physical ability and willingness to work in offshore environments and travel to project sites.
