About the Role
Sagar Vitaceuticals Nigeria Limited, a leading household name in the Nigerian pharmaceutical industry known for trusted brands like Vitaclox and Vitacillin, is currently seeking a dedicated and meticulous Quality Assurance Officer to join our dynamic team at our Makun City location in Sagamu, Ogun State. In this vital role, you will ensure that all pharmaceutical products manufactured in our ultra-modern facility meet strict regulatory standards, internal company policies, and global best practices for safety, efficacy, and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of raw materials, packaging components, and finished pharmaceutical products.
- Investigate customer complaints, deviations, and out-of-specification results, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain accurate documentation, batch records, and quality control reports for internal audits and regulatory inspections.
- Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to enforce quality control protocols across all manufacturing stages.
- Participate in routine internal quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
- Possession of a Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of proven quality assurance experience within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical quality systems, regulatory requirements, and cGMP guidelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
