We are currently seeking a competent, meticulous, and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to join our thriving team in Auchi, Edo State. In this vital role, you will play a critical part in upholding our commitment to superior product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance within our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement robust quality assurance procedures and standards for all production and packaging processes.
- Monitor active production operations to guarantee that all manufactured goods strictly meet established quality and safety benchmarks.
- Conduct thorough and regular inspections of raw materials, in-process goods, and final finished products.
- Ensure uncompromising compliance with relevant food safety regulations, industry quality benchmarks, and statutory requirements.
- Identify potential quality bottlenecks, investigate root causes of defects, and recommend actionable corrective and preventive measures.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all quality inspections, lab tests, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate seamlessly with Production, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to drive consistent end-to-end product quality.
- Enforce stringent hygiene and sanitation protocols across all production floors and storage facilities.
- Assist in reviewing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and comprehensive quality control documentation.
- Support internal quality audits and ensure that identified compliance gaps are swiftly and properly resolved.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven professional experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control, ideally within the FMCG or food manufacturing sector.
- Working knowledge of HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), NAFDAC guidelines, and relevant food safety management systems.
- Strong analytical, inspection, documentation, and problem-solving aptitude with exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional manufacturing teams.
- Must be resident in or genuinely willing to relocate to Auchi, Edo State.
