About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitizing Africa's real economy by building a comprehensive financial ecosystem for businesses. We provide payment, banking, credit, and business management tools to help enterprises succeed. We are currently looking for a talented Quality Assurance Engineer to play a critical part in our product development lifecycle, ensuring our software runs smoothly, meets client needs, and maintains the highest standards of reliability and performance before deployment.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with developers, enterprise architects, product managers, and project managers to design robust software solutions.
- Derive comprehensive acceptance criteria and test cases from product requirements from a quality assurance perspective.
- Execute various types of software testing to certify application quality prior to production deployment.
- Identify, track, and maintain detailed records of bugs and application issues.
- Conduct thorough exploratory and learning tests for newly developed features.
- Ensure that every feature deployed to our users is thoroughly vetted and bug-free.
- BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar technical role.
- Strong familiarity with Agile development methodologies and test-driven environments.
- Exceptional analytical skills, resourcefulness, and troubleshooting aptitude with strong attention to detail.
