About the Role

We are currently seeking a meticulous and driven QA/QC Engineer with a specialization in Civil and Structural engineering to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will uphold our commitment to architectural excellence, structural integrity, and premium construction standards across our high-profile residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
Key Responsibilities- Implement the Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and method statements across all active construction sites.
- Conduct routine quality inspections, sign off on concrete pour permits, and verify rebar detailing, formwork, waterproofing, and structural elements before execution.
- Inspect incoming construction materials, verify supplier test certificates, and oversee field and laboratory testing including concrete cubes, slump tests, and soil compaction.
- Identify defects, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), determine root causes, and enforce effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain audit-ready QA/QC logs, conduct pre-handover snagging and punch-listing, and witness structural water-tightness and non-destructive testing.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in QA/QC roles within heavy building construction, high-rise developments, or major civil projects.
- Relevant professional certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead/Internal Auditor, CSWIP, NACE, or OSHA/NEBOSH are highly preferred.
- In-depth technical knowledge of ACI, ASTM, and BS Eurocodes, alongside advanced expertise in concrete technology and reading structural shop drawings.
- Proficiency in modern construction management and quality tools including BIM 360, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and MS Office.
