About the Role

We offer a diverse menu of continental and local dishes, expertly prepared by professional chefs under the highest standards of hygiene. We are currently looking for a dynamic and resourceful Purchasing Officer to join our vibrant team and help us maintain our commitment to excellence through efficient supply chain and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities- Source and purchase high-quality food items, kitchen supplies, and packaging materials at competitive prices.
- Conduct regular market surveys and weekly market runs to identify the best vendors and pricing.
- Collaborate closely with the Data Entry Officer, Store Keeper, Business Administrator, and Business Development Manager to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records, purchase logs, and expenditure reports.
- Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers while ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor inventory turnover and implement effective cost-control measures.
- Minimum of OND or HND in a relevant discipline.
- Proven knowledge of local markets and exceptional negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational skills, absolute trustworthiness, and high attention to detail.
- Physically fit and able to undertake regular market runs.
- Prior experience in the fast-food, hospitality, or retail sector is a distinct advantage.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a collaborative team player.
