About the Role
Ignite Energy Access is an Abu Dhabi-based leader in distributed renewable energy solutions, dedicated to providing affordable, reliable, and sustainable electricity to underserved communities across Africa. Now operating across 12 countries and serving over 15 million people, we are transforming lives and driving the continent’s clean energy transition. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Line Operator / Warehouse Driver to join our dynamic team in Nigeria to ensure the seamless movement of products and inventory.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport products, inventory, and operational materials to approved service centres, warehouses, and business locations following designated routes.
- Support the loading, offloading, and careful handling of products, verifying quantities and conditions to minimize transit damage.
- Maintain strict traceability of items, verify dispatch documentation, and ensure prompt return of signed proof of delivery documents.
- Execute reverse logistics by collecting and returning defective products, swap units, and empty packaging with proper documentation.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, monitoring basic mechanical conditions and maintaining accurate mileage records.
- Comply strictly with health, safety, environment, road-safety, and fleet-management procedures at all times.
- Assist logistics and warehouse teams with inventory staging, physical stock counts, and general operational support when not driving.
- Minimum of SSCE, OND, or HND qualification from a recognized institution.
- Possession of a relevant professional driver license and certifications with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven professional experience in a similar driving, warehouse, or logistics role.
- Strong knowledge of safe and defensive driving techniques, traffic regulations, and basic vehicle maintenance.
- Excellent integrity, accountability, time management, and communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
- Fluent in English with the ability to complete basic inventory documentation and incident reports accurately.
