About the Role
Christopher University, promoted by Translucent Management Services, bridges the gap between academia and industry through strong corporate linkages and high-level management training. We are currently seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Public Relations Officer to join our vibrant community in Mowe, Ogun State. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the public image of the university, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, and promoting our unique value proposition to both the corporate world and the general public.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective public relations strategies to enhance the university's corporate image and reputation.
- Manage media relations, including drafting press releases, organizing press conferences, and handling media inquiries.
- Collaborate with internal departments to promote institutional events, academic milestones, and achievements.
- Maintain strong communication channels with industry partners, alumni, and the broader community to support university linkages.
- Edit and publish institutional newsletters, brochures, and digital content for various communication platforms.
- Monitor public opinion and media coverage regarding the institution and advise management accordingly.
- Possession of a good honours degree from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Mandatory membership of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
- Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification cognate experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in digital media management and public relations software.
