Tojum Hospitality, a premier hospitality management consultancy and recruitment firm in Nigeria, is currently hiring a dedicated Public Area Attendant on behalf of our esteemed client, Isaac Sam Lounge & Lodging Limited. Located in the vibrant area of Ring Road, Ibadan, our client is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining world-class hospitality standards. We are seeking a meticulous, energetic, and customer-focused professional to ensure our public spaces consistently reflect elegance, comfort, and pristine hygiene.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping of all hotel public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and lounges.
- Ensure all glass surfaces, mirrors, and fixtures are spotless and well-maintained throughout the day.
- Empty trash cans, sanitize waste bins, and manage waste disposal in accordance with health and safety protocols.
- Monitor the supply of cleaning materials and report any stock replenishment needs to the supervisor promptly.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards in public areas to the maintenance department immediately.
- Greet guests warmly and provide polite assistance or directions whenever requested, upholding the highest standards of customer service.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines set by the establishment and industry regulators.
- Minimum of SSCE or relevant academic qualification.
- Proven working experience as a Public Area Attendant or Housekeeping Cleaner in a reputable hotel, lounge, or hospitality facility.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy items for extended periods.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Residency in or around Ring Road, Ibadan, is a distinct advantage.
