About the Role
AXA Mansard, a member of the global AXA Group and a leader in Nigeria's insurance sector, is seeking a dynamic Provider Tariff and Resolutions Manager. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing tariff structures for all tiers of partner healthcare providers while ensuring cost-effective, high-quality healthcare services for our insured members.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement competitive provider tariff models across all healthcare provider tiers and cadres.
- Lead negotiations with hospitals, clinics, and medical providers regarding service rates and contract terms.
- Collaborate with the claims team to analyze medical cost trends and identify value-based pricing opportunities.
- Oversee the tariff negotiation and resolution teams to ensure efficient provider tiering and prompt escalation management.
- Monitor incoming escalations, ensuring prompt resolution within 24 hours by appropriate issue owners.
- Act as a key liaison between customers, medical providers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate pre-authorization approvals.
- Ensure healthcare providers strictly comply with agreements regarding medical billing and quality of care.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on provider negotiations, tariff trends, and unit operations.
- MBBS or MBChB degree from a recognized institution.
- Relevant postgraduate degree (MPH, MSc, MBA) and/or professional healthcare management qualifications are an added advantage.
- Proven experience in healthcare provider network management, tariff negotiations, and medical claims analysis.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and coach high-performing operational teams.
