ABNL Limited is a leading 100% indigenous oil and gas servicing company incorporated in 1992, dedicated to delivering top-tier engineering and technical solutions across Nigeria and the West African sub-region. We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Projects Start-Up Specialist II to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will provide specialized field execution expertise across disciplines such as rotating machinery, electrical, process, instrumentation, and document control services, ensuring all project priorities regarding safety, quality, and schedule are successfully achieved.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Start-Up Coordinator and Start-Up Manager to ensure operational excellence and incident-and-injury-free expectations are fully met.
- Support the development and execution of comprehensive project start-up plans and downstream start-up procedures for integrated assets.
- Act as the primary technical focal point interfacing with Operations, Integrated Commissioning, and Facility Engineering Teams.
- Provide unit-specific expertise during the planning phase and guide production coordinators during active start-up.
- Identify potential risks and apply detailed knowledge of operating facilities to implement robust mitigation strategies.
- Relevant professional degree or discipline-appropriate certifications in engineering or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience in oil and gas project start-up, commissioning, and field execution activities.
- Proficiency in Work Management Systems and typical Systems Completion Database software such as WinPCS, MC+, CoConsole, or Orbit.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate field conditions and recommend effective remediation steps.
