About the Role

We are currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Project/Site Surveyor to join our dynamic construction team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that all building and civil engineering projects are executed with absolute precision, adhering strictly to approved designs, dimensions, and levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain reliable site survey control points, benchmarks, and reference grids for all assigned construction projects.
  • Execute precise site setting-out for building foundations, structural elements, roads, drainage systems, and external civil works.
  • Monitor site levels, elevations, slopes, and structural verticality continuously throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • Interpret complex architectural, structural, and civil engineering drawings to translate design data into actionable site requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Architects, Quantity Surveyors, and contractors to maintain high construction standards.
  • Operate, maintain, and manage advanced surveying instruments including Total Stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, and digital levels.
  • Perform comprehensive as-built surveys, collect accurate field data, and prepare detailed survey reports and documentation.
  • Supervise, mentor, and guide junior survey staff, technicians, and assistants to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.

Qualifications
  • BSc or HND in Surveying, Surveying & Geoinformatics, Geomatics, or a closely related discipline.
  • 5 to 8 years of proven professional experience in construction surveying, covering both building and civil engineering projects.
  • Professional registration or pending certification with the Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON) is a distinct advantage.
  • Demonstrated expertise in utilizing modern surveying tools such as Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, and Auto Levels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings and resolve discrepancies early.
  • Excellent communication, team coordination, and health and safety compliance on bustling construction sites.
