About the Role
Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited is a leading independent Nigerian energy firm positioned at the forefront of the oil and gas sector. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Services Engineer to support the delivery and integration of comprehensive project services activities, ensuring effective execution and strategic decision-making across all project lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and integrate a full suite of Project Services activities including Estimating, Cost Engineering, Planning Engineering, Risk Management, and Benchmarking for pre-DG3 and post-DG3 projects.
- Provide accurate, verified data and monthly reports covering progress updates, cost forecasts, critical path, and trend analyses to the Project Manager.
- Incorporate project complexity, local requirements, and carbon reduction strategies into project planning, cost assessments, and risk frameworks.
- Establish, implement, and monitor robust project controls processes, systems, and plans in alignment with company standards.
- Review scope change requests, validate VOWD, payment milestones, and contractor invoices while conducting cost and schedule reconciliations.
- Apply probabilistic techniques to determine cost and schedule ranges, conducting joint risk analyses with project partners.
- Support contract evaluations, pricing instructions, and bid schedule reviews to facilitate strategic contract award recommendations.
- Motivate, coach, and develop junior project services engineers to foster continuous improvement and high performance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of extensive experience within the oil and gas industry.
- At least 5 years of dedicated project experience with substantial responsibility for managing Project Services or Project Engineering scopes on post-DG3 projects.
- Demonstrated team leadership capability with proven experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
