We are currently looking for a competent and detail-oriented Project Quantity Surveyor / Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in our construction and property development operations by ensuring our high standards of quality and financial efficiency are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review comprehensive Bills of Quantities, cost estimates, and material requirements for luxury residential projects.
- Source premium construction materials, equipment, and specialized services at competitive prices without compromising on quality.
- Obtain, evaluate, and compare quotations from various vendors and suppliers.
- Prepare purchase requests, purchase orders, and complete procurement documentation in line with company policies.
- Monitor market material prices, track supplier performance, and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Support project budgeting, cost control, cost checks, and interim valuations.
- Verify delivered quantities and specifications against approved project requirements.
- Coordinate seamlessly with project, site, finance, and store teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Identify strategic opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience within the construction or real estate industry.
- Strong, demonstrable knowledge of luxury construction materials, local pricing, and procurement workflows.
- Proficiency in preparing accurate estimates, BOQs, and detailed cost comparisons.
- Exceptional negotiation, vendor management, and numerical abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and professional reporting.
- Relevant professional certifications or memberships will be considered a strong advantage.
