We are currently looking for a dedicated Project Planner to join our dynamic team in Nekede. In this role, you will drive successful project delivery by creating detailed schedules, analyzing critical paths, forecasting trends, and monitoring procurement via our enterprise resource planning system to ensure all initiatives stay strictly on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build comprehensive Work Breakdown Structures and baseline schedules utilizing MS Project or Primavera P6, and lead thorough Integrated Baseline Reviews.
  • Track ongoing progress meticulously, analyze critical paths, manage potential risks proactively, and issue early warnings for schedule deviations or required recovery plans.
  • Plan short-term and long-term resource allocation effectively while utilizing the internal ERP system to track material impacts on overall project timelines.
  • Oversee subcontractor schedules, provide accurate tender schedules, and adjust budgets or contracts seamlessly for any necessary scope changes.
  • Prepare regular, detailed progress reports for stakeholders and mentor junior team members on industry-standard planning best practices.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or a closely related technical field from a recognized institution.
  • A relevant Master's degree or PMI-SP certification will be considered a strong added advantage.
  • Between 4 to 8 years of professional experience in project planning, with a preferred background in active site management.
  • Advanced technical proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or Asta Powerproject, alongside strong operational familiarity with modern ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex construction schedules, subcontractor relationships, and resource procurement workflows successfully.
