Key Responsibilities- Ensure a safety-first culture by strictly adhering to all company and industry safety norms across the site.
- Coordinate with cross-discipline team members to ensure all parties stay on track with project requirements, budgets, and deadlines.
- Understand technical requirements of plant equipment, including P&IDs, and manage Bill of Quantities (BOQs) for Civil, Mechanical, Piping, and Electrical works.
- Liaise with the Plant Team to resolve operational stoppages, meet project requirements, and fulfill all necessary legal compliance.
- Ensure zero deviation in vendor contracts and monitor risks continuously, escalating potential cost overruns immediately to the Project Head.
- Prepare comprehensive Gantt Charts in collaboration with selected vendors and oversee timely procurement and vendor payments.
- Provide daily updates and detailed weekly reports to the Project Head regarding project progress.
- Coordinate with plant HR to ensure proper logistics and support for the on-site engineering team.
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (B.Eng.) or HND in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant hands-on experience in technical project engineering.
- At least 4 years of specific experience working within a beverage bottling company.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project scheduling tools like MS Projects.
- Strong expertise in budgeting, people management, and bottling operations (Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Environment).
- Must possess a valid PMP certification or a recognized equivalent project management certification.
- Proven background in plant manufacturing operations, project planning, implementation, and new production line installations.
