About the Role
SC Johnson is seeking a dynamic Associate Manager, Project Management to deliver high-impact cross-functional projects across Nigeria and Ghana through all development, commercialization, and launch phases. In this pivotal role, you will spend approximately 70-80 percent of your time leading project scopes, timelines, and risks, and 20-30 percent providing hands-on RD&E support for laboratory, trial, and validation activities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end project execution through development, commercialization, launch, and post-launch phases across Nigeria and Ghana.
- Coordinate cross-functional team activities, schedules, deliverables, risk registers, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure subject matter experts are fully engaged to meet key milestones and commercialization objectives.
- Prepare laboratory formulations, bulk materials, and product samples according to approved procedures.
- Execute manufacturing scale-up and validation trials in collaboration with engineering and formulation teams.
- Capture trial parameters, troubleshoot process issues, and maintain accurate technical documentation to ensure data integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in project management, product development, manufacturing, or commercialization within FMCG.
- Practical hands-on experience working in a laboratory, manufacturing, or production environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Fluency in English with the ability to travel within Nigeria and Ghana as required.
