About the Role
The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Management Specialist - International to join our esteemed multilateral development financing institution. In this vital role, you will coordinate the appraisal, implementation, monitoring, and completion of assigned development operations to support the timely and effective delivery of our global development mandate.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive technical, financial, economic, environmental, and social due diligence for assigned projects in line with Bank policies.
- Monitor active operations against approved scopes, schedules, budgets, and contractual commitments using advanced portfolio management systems.
- Identify material project risks, recommend robust mitigation strategies, and escalate fiduciary or resource concerns to designated authorities.
- Prepare substantive inputs for project completion reports, capturing vital lessons learned to strengthen future international development designs.
- Maintain collaborative working relationships with executing agencies, member-country counterparts, and international development partners.
- Master degree in Project Management, Engineering, Economics, Development Studies, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in project management, development operations, or portfolio monitoring.
- Recognized professional project management certification.
- Prior working experience within a multilateral development bank, development finance institution, or global organization.
- Mandatory fluency in English; proficiency in additional IsDB official languages is an advantage.
