About the Role

Jamub Group is a leading Nigerian conglomerate delivering diverse business solutions across B2B, B2G, and B2C sectors. We are currently looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Management Officer (PMO Construction) to join our growing team and drive excellence in our construction portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor project progress against approved work plans, schedules, budgets, and milestones.
  • Review project reports and provide timely updates on status, costs, risks, and challenges.
  • Track deliverables and ensure delays and cost variances are promptly identified and escalated.
  • Maintain and update project management templates, trackers, and reporting systems.
  • Coordinate weekly and monthly project performance reviews with Project Managers and site teams.
  • Manage project documentation including work programmes, risk registers, and variation records.
  • Track project costs and commitments against approved budgets.
  • Monitor project risks and ensure appropriate mitigation actions are implemented.
  • Support Project Managers in developing recovery plans for delayed or underperforming projects.
  • Prepare consolidated project performance reports for executive management.
  • Conduct periodic site monitoring visits and report findings to the Head of PMO.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in construction project management or PMO environments.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
